「WELCOME TO THE GAME – 人生というクソゲーを最高に楽しむ方法」
目が覚めると、目の前にキャラクター作成画面が表示されていた。
「え？」
名前入力欄には、すでに「お前の名前」と書かれている。性別選択ボタンはグレーアウトして変更不可。「親ガチャ」ボタンを押すと、「すでに結果は確定しています」と表示された。
「マジかよ……」
どうやら、俺はすでにキャラメイクを終え、「人生」というゲームにログイン済みらしい。
すると、頭の中に直接メッセージが流れてきた。
「WELCOME TO THE GAME – LIFESIM 20XX!」
「本ゲームの目的：好きに生きろ」
「難易度：クソゲー（変更不可）」
「……クソゲーって、公式が認めてるんかい！」
とりあえず、チュートリアルをスキップしようとしたが、無慈悲にも「チュートリアルは幼少期としてすでに終了しました」との表示。
つまり、俺はすでに 「人生という名のゲーム」 のプレイ中。しかも途中参加OKのMMORPGらしい。
で、目的は？
「好きに生きろ」。
それだけ。
よし、やってやろうじゃねえか。
LEVEL 1 – ルールを知れ
このゲーム、全自動でストーリーが進むタイプじゃない。
プレイヤーは自分で考えて、動いて、道を選ばなきゃいけない。
【システムメッセージ】
→ 「他人の言うことは、攻略本ではない。」
→ 「そもそも攻略本なんてない。」
つまり、みんな好き勝手にプレイしてるだけで、「こう生きるべき！」なんてルールは、どこにもない。
だとしたら、何をしてもいい。「マイペースで進める」っていう選択肢もあるし、ガチ勢みたいに全クリ目指すのも自由。
だから、まずはこう思え。
「このゲーム、どう遊んだら一番楽しいかな？」
LEVEL 2 – クエストは自分で決めろ
【サブクエスト発生】
✔ 好きなことを探す
✔ やりたいことをやる
✔ ときどき何もしない
【メインクエスト】
✔ 生きる（期限：不明）
このゲーム、クエストは自分で作れる。
「他人が決めた目標」に乗っかるのもいいけど、強制イベントじゃない。本当にやりたいことがあるなら、そっちをやれ。
そして、めちゃくちゃ大事なこと。
「どんなプレイスタイルでもOK」
ガチ勢のプレイ（仕事バリバリ、成功目指す）
のんびり探索プレイ（趣味や旅を楽しむ）
ストーリーそっちのけで遊びまくるプレイ（適当に生きる）
どれもアリ。好きなスタイルで遊べ。
LEVEL 3 – 詰んだらリセットできる
このゲーム、めちゃくちゃバランスが悪い。
・「運のステータス」が最初から決まってる
・「バグ（理不尽）」が日常的に発生
・「チート（ズル）」を使うヤツがいる
でも、大事なのはここ。
「詰んでも、終わりじゃない。」
・新しいゲームモードに切り替える（環境を変える）
・キャラ育成をやり直す（学び直す）
・とりあえずログアウトして休む（睡眠）
いくらでもやり直せる。
FINAL LEVEL – 「楽しんだヤツが勝ち」
このゲーム、最終的に何が正解かわからない。
でも、ひとつだけ確かなことがある。
「楽しくプレイしたヤツが、勝ち。」
・勝ち負けは、自分で決めていい
・ゲームの終わり方も、自分で決めていい
・「他人と比べる」なんて無駄
どんな人生を選んでも、最後にこう思えたら、それが「勝ちエンド」だ。
「あー、なんだかんだ面白いゲームだったな！」
「WELCOME TO THE GAME – ENJOY YOUR PLAY!」
俺は深呼吸して、画面の前の「スタート」ボタンを押した。
そして、改めてこの世界を見渡した。
よし、プレイ続行だ。

“WELCOME TO THE GAME – How to Enjoy the Hell Out of Life”
I woke up to a character creation screen staring me in the face.
“Wait, what?”
In the name field, it already said “Your Name.” The gender selection buttons were grayed out, locked. And when I hit the “Parent Lottery” button, it just said “Results locked in.”
“Seriously…?”
Apparently, I had already made my character and was now logged into the “Life” game.
Then, a message flashed directly into my head.
“WELCOME TO THE GAME – LIFESIM 20XX!”
“Your objective: Live however you want”
“Difficulty: Crap Game (non-negotiable)”
“…A crap game? The official game description?”
I tried to skip the tutorial, but the message popped up: “Tutorial already completed during childhood.”
So yeah, apparently I was already “in the game”. Mid-play.
And the objective?
“Live however you want.”
That’s it.
Alright, let’s do this.
LEVEL 1 – Learn the Rules
This game isn’t some autopilot, story-driven thing.
Players have to think for themselves, make decisions, and choose their paths.
[System Message]
→ “What others say is not a strategy guide.”
→ “There is no strategy guide.”
In other words, everyone is just playing however they want. “You” make the rules.
So here’s the thing: Whatever you do, you gotta ask yourself:
“How do I want to play this game?”
LEVEL 2 – Create Your Own Quests
[Side Quest Available]
✔ Find something you love
✔ Do whatever you want
✔ Sometimes, do nothing at all
[Main Quest]
✔ Live (Deadline: unknown)
This game? You create your own quests.
You can follow someone else’s storyline, sure, but it’s not mandatory. You make the choices.
So, here’s what matters:
“What do I really want to do?”
Full-on Hardcore Mode (work, succeed, conquer)
Chill Exploration Mode (hobbies, travel, vibe)
Randomly Play and Have Fun (do whatever)
All of these are fine. Play however you want.
LEVEL 3 – When You’re Stuck, You Can Always Reset
This game’s tough.
“Luck stat” is already preset
“Bugs (injustice)” happen all the time
“Cheaters” use shortcuts (spoilers)
But here’s the most important thing:
“If you’re stuck, it’s not over.”
Switch game modes (change your environment)
Rebuild your character (learn something new)
Log out and rest for a while (sleep!)
You can always start again.
FINAL LEVEL – “The Ones Who Had Fun Win”
This game? No one really knows the “right” way to play.
But one thing’s for sure:
“The one who has the most fun wins.”
Winning is whatever you define it to be
How the game ends? Your choice
Don’t compare yourself to others
Whatever path you take, just remember:
“If you can look back and think, ‘That was one hell of a game,’ then that’s the victory.”

I took a deep breath and hit the “Start” button.
Then I looked out at the world again.
Alright, let’s keep playing.
