春の訪れとともに、梅の花がほころび始める季節となりました。貴山におかれましては、ますますご清栄のこととお慶び申し上げます。

さて、私どもが先祖の墓じまいを依頼した際、○○寺からのご対応において、期待した誠実な対応が得られなかったことを、心より深く悔い、憂いております。まさに、興教大師が『密厳院発露懺悔文』において述べたように、仏道に従う者としての義務を果たせず、利益や形式に走ることへの懺悔の念を新たに感じております。

興教大師は、仏教の本義に対する誠実な心を守るべきであるとし、教義から逸脱し、形式的な行為に執着することを厳しく戒めました。私たちもまた、教義に則り、仏の道に基づいて、心を整え、行いを正していかなければなりません。この度の対応に関しても、その教えを胸に、今後の改善を求める次第です。

真言宗○○派が大切にする「一切衆生悉有仏性」の思想に基づき、私たちが行うべきことは、目先の利益を追うことではなく、仏の慈悲と智慧に基づいて行動することに他なりません。興教大師が示された懺悔の精神を胸に、改めて真摯な心でお伺いを立てさせていただきます。

貴山におかれましても、教義の本義を守り、信仰の道を歩んでいくことを切に願いながら、このようなお願いを申し上げる次第でございます。

末筆ながら、本山のますますのご発展と、皆様のご健勝を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

To the Leadership of the Church,

I trust this letter finds you well.

I write today to express my deep concerns regarding the manner in which the church has handled matters of faith and practice. After much reflection and soul-searching, I find myself recalling the words of those who, like myself, have sought truth and spiritual peace. Just as those who have criticized the misdirection of our faith have done in the past, I am forced to confront how the actions and teachings here have diverged from the pure path.

In line with these reflections, I must speak on the manner in which certain requests were handled, particularly those that involved financial and emotional commitments from individuals like myself. I remember a time when our faith was centered on selfless service, yet the current practices seem increasingly driven by mere ritualistic formalities, overshadowing the true purpose of spiritual connection. It is a pattern I can no longer support.

Much like the great reformers of the past, who saw their communities slipping into self-serving practices, I feel compelled to take a stand, not out of malice, but out of deep respect for the essence of faith. I wish to break free from the cycle that perpetuates such harmful actions, and urge a return to the teachings that once drew us all to this community: humility, true repentance, and sincere devotion.

The teachings of Christ, as originally intended, are not bound by human error, but by the purity of divine love. I ask that you, in your role as spiritual guides, reflect upon these matters and consider the path that leads to true peace and salvation—not one fueled by external pressures or financial gain, but one grounded in love, understanding, and accountability.

I extend my wishes for peace and enlightenment, and may your future endeavors be rooted in the true spirit of faith.
